WHO I AM
I am an applied researcher working at the intersection of academic research and data-driven decision-making.
I hold a PhD (cum laude) from Bocconi University, with training in economic and management studies, and a background that combines rigorous empirical methods, causal inference, data science, and theory-driven analysis.
I currently serve as Chief Research Scientist at Cerved (ION Group), Italy’s leading provider of firm-level and economic data, where I design and oversee research-driven analytical frameworks and model development, empowering products that help firms making strategic decisions under uncertainty. In parallel, I continue my academic work as a Fellow of the ION Management Science Lab at SDA Bocconi.
My experience spans academic research, teaching at executive and graduate levels, and applied projects with firms and institutions. Earlier in my career, I worked as an Economic Consultant at the European Investment Bank.
Across contexts, I focus on one objective: producing rigorous evidence that can withstand scrutiny and inform real decisions.
